Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cooling water from entering into a battery cell, while maintaining cooling efficiency.SOLUTION: In a battery temperature adjustment device, a closed cross-sectional space 13 is formed by a peripheral wall 12 which performs cooling by the latent heat of vaporization of a hydraulic fluid 10, a cooling pipe 15 is disposed in the closed cross-sectional space 13, a battery cell 4 is brought into surface contact with an outer surface 12a of an outer wall 17 of the peripheral wall 12, a rectangular surface of the cooling pipe 15 is brought into surface contact with an inner surface 12b of an inner wall 16 of the peripheral wall 12, and the cooling water and the battery cell 4 are efficiently cooled by efficiently absorbing the latent heat of vaporization of the hydraulic fluid 10, while the cooling water is prevented from leaking out to the outside from the closed cross-sectional space 13 even if the cooling water leaks from the cooling pipe 15.
