Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel perfluoroalkylation reaction of an aromatic compound having a perfluoroalkyl group or a fluorophenyl group, which exhibits a high yield and is convenient, and which can be applicable to a wide range of compounds.SOLUTION: In a perfluoroalkylation reaction, a fluorine-containing compound represented by formula (3) is obtained by making a compound represented by formula (1) and a perfluoroalkyl iodide represented by formula X-Rand the like react with each other in the presence of dialkylzinc and a copper catalyst and in an aprotic polar solvent (A is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl group; X is Br or I; and Ris a phenyl group having a 1-20C perfluoroalkyl group or 1-5 fluoro groups).
