Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacket for book, capable of preventing deviation between a book body and the jacket for book in a vertical direction, and suppressing interference to reading of information printed on a sleeve part at low cost suppressing labor of production.SOLUTION: A jacket 100 for book of the invention comprises: a first sleeve part 1A; a first body part 2A; a back part 3; a second body part 2B; and a second sleeve part 1B in the order. At least one of the first and second sleeve parts 1A, 1B has tongue piece parts 7A, 7B disposed so as to extend in a vertical direction only on an area of a ground part, not on a top side area of the sleeve parts 1A, 1B. The tongue piece parts 7A, 7B have and direct movement parts 8A, 8B moving in a near side or a depth side of surfaces of the sleeve parts 1A, 1B with the ground side serving as a base end, toward the top side. The movement parts 8A, 8B are configured so that length in the vertical direction is longer than distance between the base end and edges on the ground side of the sleeve parts 1A, 1B.
