Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press device capable of performing rolling machining on work, by using the reciprocating movement of a slide.SOLUTION: A rolling machining unit 64 is attached to a bolster 22. The rolling machining unit 64 is equipped with moving members 68A.. moving forward and backward to a rolling machining area 32, and a rolling dies 70A.. rotatably supported by the moving members. A slide 24 is provided with moving cams 72A.. working on the moving members of the rolling machining unit 64. When the slide 24 moves in a direction approaching the bolster 22, the moving cams 72A work on the moving members 68A.. of the rolling machining unit 64 to move the moving members 68A.. forward to the rolling machining area 32, and the rolling dies 70A.. work on an outer peripheral surface of the work to form a male screw portion. Therefore, by using the reciprocating movement of the slide 24 of the press device, rolling machining can be performed on the work.
