Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety tool, easily installable in a ball chain, and capable of preventing hitching on the ball chain in nonoperation time.SOLUTION: A safety tool 17 is installed in the ball chain, and comprises body members 18 and 19 having first and second storage spaces for storing first and second chain parts 7a and 7b of the ball chain suspended from a support member and a pulley 20 rotatably supported by the body members 18 and 19, and the pulley 20 is constituted so as to engage with a ball, and is arranged between the first and second chain parts 7a and 7b in the body members 18 and 19, and the body members 18 and 19 comprise first and second slits for communicating with the first and second storage spaces and enabling the first and second chain parts 7a and 7b to be insertable into the first and second storage spaces.
