Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a fuel consumption amount required for a drying operation at the time of starting the drying operation ranging from contained moisture value of contained grain to a finished moisture value at a grain dryer and display it and prevent lack of fuel during drying operation.SOLUTION: A circulation type grain dryer is provided with a controller (41) for igniting at a burner (5) to attain a selected and set drying speed, supplying dry hot air to a drying chamber (3) and drying in order to reach a dried target moisture value while performing a circulating operation. The controller (41) acquires a residual amount of fuel in a fuel tank (21) when the drying work is started, calculates a set drying speed and a drying consumed fuel and drying consumption fuel required for drying ranging from contained moisture value of contained grain amount to a target dry moisture value on the basis of pre-arranged prescribed drying speed and a reference drying fuel consumption amount required for unit moisture value drying of the contained amount and by referring a prescribed calculation formula and then calculates a residual amount of fuel in the fuel tank (21) at the time of finishing drying operation and displays it at a display device (32) at a control panel (31).
