Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating tread rigidity of a tire.SOLUTION: The tread rigidity of a tire according to the present invention includes: a preparation step; a position measurement step; a relative position calculation step; and a rigidity evaluation step. In the preparation step, a tire is prepared, and this tire is provided with a tread. This tread forms a tread surface grounding on a road surface. This tread surface is formed with a groove. This tread is sectioned into a plurality of blocks. In the position measurement step, the tread surface position of this block and the groove bottom position of this groove are measured in a time-series manner. In this relative position calculation step, a relative position between this tread surface position and the groove bottom position is calculated. In this rigidity evaluation step, a time-series variation of the relative position is calculated from this relative position.
