PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately manage lens machining that uses data.SOLUTION: A lens design data use management system is the lens design data use management system that comprises: a lens machining management system that manages machining of a lens using lens design data; and a lens manufacturing device that machines the lens. The lens machining management system is configured to: perform a machining propriety check request for a check about propriety of machining the lens before the lens manufacturing device machines the lens using the lens design data; and output an instruction to machine the lens using the lens design data to the lens manufacturing device when receiving a machining permission reply indicative of a permission to machine the lens as a reply to the machining propriety check request.
