Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tunnel water spray equipment capable of solving a problem involved in conventional tunnel water spray equipment, efficiently cooling a housing in a tunnel, and alleviating downward diffusion of smoke.SOLUTION: Tunnel water spray equipment includes a fire-extinguishing nozzle for spraying fire-extinguishing water toward a road surface side in a tunnel, and a cooling nozzle disposed in the vicinity of the fire-extinguishing nozzle for spraying fire-extinguishing water toward a ceiling surface side in the tunnel as nozzles for spraying fire-extinguishing water pressurized by pressurizing means in the event of a fire in the tunnel. The fire-extinguishing water is caused to have thixotropic nature by adding a thixotropic agent to water.
