Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of performing capacity adjustment of a refrigerant without changing a receiver tank by making the receiver tank a variable type.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a cylindrical receiver tank 10 connected to piping of a refrigeration cycle and having one entrance for storing a refrigerant; and a capacity variable part 20 capable of changing the capacity of the receiver tank 10. The capacity variable part 20 includes: a piston 21 for changing the capacity of an entrance side tank chamber of the receiver tank 10 by moving into a tank axis direction in the receiver tank 10; and a piston drive part 22 for moving the piston 21 into the axis direction of the receiver tank 10.
