Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token selection apparatus which even when many tokens are continuously fed in a token non-acceptable state, can return those tokens without developing token jam, while the apparatus is being kept in a small size.SOLUTION: The token selection apparatus has token passages including a longitudinal passage and a lateral passage arranged in a nearly L-shape, and when in a token non-acceptable state, the apparatus opens a part of a passage bottom surface of the lateral passage to return tokens. A small-diameter token ejection lever 100 is disposed upstream of the open-type bottom surface in a medal advancing direction. A pressurization mechanism 400 is arranged, which when in the token non-acceptable state, boosts the energizing force of the small-diameter token ejection lever 100 stronger than in a token acceptable state, to thereby make the time required for a fed token to reach the opening passage bottom in the token non-acceptable state longer than in the token acceptable state.
