Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a size of engine device to be made compact even if an exhaust gas treatment device 2 can be supported under high rigidity.SOLUTION: An engine device of this invention comprises an engine 1 for driving a work part 268 such as a compressor or a power generator; and an exhaust gas treatment device 2 for processing exhaust gas of the engine 1. One side of the engine 1 is provided with a cooling fan 9, and the other side of the engine 1 is provided with a flywheel housing 10. The work part 268 is connected to the flywheel 11 in the flywheel housing 10 in such a way that power force can be transferred. The exhaust gas treatment device 2 is attached to the upper surface side of the flywheel housing 10 and the exhaust gas treatment device 2 is positioned above the work part 268.
