Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw member fixing method for fixing a screw member to the surface of a plate-like workpiece.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for fixing a screw member such as a polygonal-shaped nut or a bolt having polygonal-shaped head part to one surface of a plate-like workpiece comprising the steps of: positioning a screw member 1 and at the same time forming a plurality of protrusions 7 for restricting a rotation of the screw member 1, around an arranging position 3 where the screw member 1 is arranged; forming a raised and bent piece 9 enclosed by slits 11 formed in three directions at a position near the arranging position 3; raising and bending the bent piece 9 after arranging the screw member 1 at the arranging position 3, restricting motion of the screw member 1 by the raised and bent piece 9, and fixing the screw member 1 to the arranging position 3.
