Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system for enabling a medical worker to grasp how much he/she is close to the location of a patient when calling a plurality of portable terminals in response to a call from the patient.SOLUTION: Radio transceiver installation position information is registered in a radio transceiver 20, and nurse call slave unit installation position information is registered in a nurse call slave unit 1. A portable terminal 30 transmits a signal for specifying the position of an own terminal to the radio transceiver 20 at prescribed timing. When a call is made to the nurse call slave unit 1, the installation position thereof is specified, and the current position of the portable terminal is also specified on the basis of a signal transmitted from the portable terminal. Since a distance determination device 10 compares the installation position of the nurse call slave unit with the installation position of the portable terminal to make a notification pattern in a notification part 33 of the portable terminal faster as the distance is closer, the medical worker can grasp how much he/she is close to the location of the patient.
