Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo refrigerator capable of dispersing refrigerant liquid after cooling an electric motor to a part of a heat transfer pipe not acting as an effective heat transfer area in an evaporator and improving a heat transfer performance of the evaporator.SOLUTION: An evaporator 3 is composed of an evaporator of 2-pass with a cold water inlet nozzle 35and a cold water outlet nozzle 35at one end or an evaporator of 3-pass with the cold water inlet nozzle 35at one end and the cold water outlet nozzle 35at the other end. In the case where the evaporator 3 is an evaporator of 2-pass, a refrigerant supply pipe 7 for supplying refrigerant liquid to the evaporator 3 is disposed at an opposite side of the cold water inlet nozzle 35and the cold water outlet nozzle 35of the evaporator 3 and in the case where the evaporator 3 is an evaporator of 3-pass, the refrigerant supply pipe 7 for supplying refrigerant liquid to the evaporator 3 is disposed at the cold water outlet nozzle of the evaporator 3.
