Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of promoting, in quality assurance, both improvement in operability and prevention of breakage or the like.SOLUTION: In an automatic binding, a sheet bundle loaded on an intermediate processing tray, into which sheets are transported along a transportation path, can be bound with a stapler 132. In a manual binding, a sheet bundle loaded on the intermediate processing tray, with sheets possible to be loaded on the intermediate processing tray manually along a direction different from the sheet transportation direction in the transportation path, can be bound with the stapler 132. On a die 604 of the stapler 132 and a slide support plate 605, recesses 604c, 605d extended in a plurality of different directions from the binding portion of the sheet bundle are provided.
