Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device which hardly generates breakage of an insertion binding part, damage to the device, and the like due to the interference between a sheet bundle and guide members when taking out the sheet bundle after binding processing.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: first and second guide members 171, 170g for guiding both sides of a sheet bundle 1n which is inserted into a needleless binding unit 500 by a user; and movement means for moving at least one of the first and second guide members 171, 170g. The distance between the first guide member 171 and the second guide member 170g before needleless binding operation of the sheet bundle 1n by the needless binding unit 500 is smaller than the distance between the first guide member 171 and the second guide member 170g after the needleless binding operation.
