Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trunk case and its manufacturing method which can increase the structural strength of corners of the case and do not greatly increase the entire weight.SOLUTION: In the trunk case including four side plates made of fabric-reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material to be mutually adjacent, and a base plate connecting the four side plates, circular arc-shaped end parts being respectively formed at connection places of the four side plates, and notches having a circular arc shape being respectively provided at a connection place between each circular arc-shaped end part and the base plate, a first overlapping part and a second overlapping part integrally extend from optional adjacent two side plates, the first overlapping part and the second overlapping part are integrally connected without a cut area between them, and a circular arc-shaped end part is molded by folding the first overlapping part and the second overlapping part to be provided on one rear surface of the side plates.
