Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanized rubber composition capable of exerting excellent crack resistance and an inner liner which is arranged on the inner surface of a tire as a gas barrier layer for retaining the tire internal pressure and uses the composition.SOLUTION: A rubber composition comprises a styrene-butadiene or butadiene rubber as a rubber ingredient and layer silicate; the breaking elongation(EB) of the rubber composition after vulcanization is 1,000% or greater; and the 100% tensile modulus(M100) is 0.7 MPa or higher. The air permeation coefficient of the rubber composition at 60°C after vulcanization is 40×10cm.cm/(cm.s.cmHg) or lower. The rubber composition is for sealants and inner liners.
