Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve downsizing of a re-pressurization mechanism to be used in the center folding of a sheet bundle.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a pair of first conveyance rollers 220A, 220B; first switch means for switching the state of the first conveyance rollers between a clamping state and a retreat state; a pair of second conveyance rollers 221A, 221B; second switch means for switching the state of the second conveyance rollers between the clamping state and the retreat state; and insertion means 261a for inserting a folding part of a sheet bundle 4 between the first conveyance rollers. The second conveyance rollers are disposed at a position capable of clamping the folding part of the sheet bundle delivered from the first conveyance rollers. When the folding part reaches the second conveyance rollers by the clamping conveyance of the first conveyance rollers, the state of the second conveyance rollers is switched to the clamping state by the second switch means, and the state of the first conveyance rollers is switched to the retreat state by the first switch means.
