Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reducing valve capable of restricting inclination of a piston due to turbulent gas flow condition.SOLUTION: A reducing valve 1 comprises: a body 10 having a valve containing hole 14 communicating with a first port; a valve mechanism 20 contained in the valve containing hole 14; a cylinder S located on the downstream side of the valve mechanism 20; a piston 40 defining a decompression chamber G that is contained in the cylinder S and communicates with a second port; and piston urge means that urges the piston 40 toward the valve mechanism 20. The valve mechanism 20 includes: a valve seat 24 having a through-hole 24a; a valve body 22 located on the upstream side of the valve seat 24; a valve spring 23 that urges the valve body 22 toward the valve seat 24; a pin 26 that is located on the downstream side of the valve seat 24 and between the valve body 22 and the piston 40; and a cylindrical plug 25 containing the pin 26. The pin 26 has a columnar part 26b that is slidably in contact with an inner periphery of the plug 25. A spiral slot 26a is formed in an outer periphery of the columnar part 26b.
