Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an alignment failure of a plurality of sheets loaded for post-processing in a post-processing device for performing post-processing to the sheets and an image forming apparatus including the post-processing device.SOLUTION: A staple processing device 52 includes: a staple tray 521; a staple section 71; a rear reference plate 74 and a front reference plate 75; and an interlocking mechanism. The staple section 71 performs staple processing to a plurality of sheets loaded on the staple tray 521. The staple section 71 is made movable in a sheet width direction along end edges of the sheets. The rear reference plate 74 and the front reference plate 75 abut on the end edges of the plurality of sheets so as to align the plurality of sheets. The interlocking mechanism interlocks with the movement of the staple section 71, so that the rear reference plate 74 and the front reference plate 75 are moved in the sheet width direction.
