Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sacrifice coating composition which improves quality of wet images and/or transferability of images in indirect printing with an aqueous ink, an indirect printer and a printing process.SOLUTION: A sacrifice coating composition comprises a latex containing polymer particles dispersed in a continuous liquid phase, at least one hygroscopic material, at least one surfactant and water. The polymer particles contain at least one repeating polymer unit selected from an acrylic acid unit, an acrylate unit, a methacrylic acid unit, a methacrylate unite, a diene unit, an aliphatic nitrile unit, a vinyl ether unit, a vinyl ester unit, a vinyl ketone unit, a vinylidene halide unit, a vinyl-substituted heterocyclic amine unit, an acrylamide unit, a methacrylamide unit, a vinyl-substituted aromatic hydrocarbon unit, a vinyl halide unit and an alkene unit.
