PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine individually reducing design surface molding dies in weight with a simple configuration and being capable of easily replacing the design surface molding dies with respect to a mother die in accordance with design surfaces of a molded article to be molded.SOLUTION: An injection molding machine comprises: a first die 1 including design surface molding dies 5 individually performing molding in accordance with a plurality of design surfaces Wa of a molded article W and a mother die 3 holding the design surface molding dies 5 in a replaceable manner; and a second die 2 being operatively associated with the first die 1 and forming a cavity C for molding the molded article W. Each design surface molding die 5 is obtained by integrally molding a metal layer maintenance material 7 consisting of a raw material having specific gravity less than specific gravity of a raw material of a metal layer 6 and being capable of maintaining a shape of the metal layer 6 on a rear surface of the metal layer 6 constituting a cavity surface.
