Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacket which can be mounted according to the thickness of a book by a simple construction, which hardly slips off from the book, and which has a nice-looking when mounted.SOLUTION: A book cover 10 is constituted of a cover body 12 and a bag body 20. The cover body 12 has one end portion 12A folded along a side end 56A of a back cover 56 and the other end portion 12B folded substantially in parallel with a side end 52A of a front cover 52. On the other hand, the bag body 20 is a rectangle flat bag having an opening 22 formed at one side, and covers with the front cover 52 and the side of the end portion 12B of the cover body 12 being overlapped. Depending on the folded extent of the side of the end portion 12B of the cover body 12, the thickness of a book 50 can be covered, and the bag body 20 is made reluctant to come out by holding the side of the end portion 12B. By forming an engaging piece 24 on the inner side of the bag body 20, moreover, the engagement with a folded part 16 is made possible to make the dropout harder.
