Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect cavitation characteristic of a hydraulic machine and diminishing or eliminating the strength of the cavitation.SOLUTION: A direct acting type hydraulic machine in which a single shaft is shared between an electric motor or an electric generator and a hydraulic machine, comprises: an acceleration sensor attached to the direct acting type hydraulic machine; and an inverter exerting a control over a revolving speed of the electric motor or the electric generator, the direct acting type hydraulic machine being configured so that, when the occurrence of cavitation is detected by a signal from the acceleration sensor, the inverter compares a current of the electric motor or the electric generator at a time of the detection with a current of the electric motor or the electric generator at a maximum efficiency point of the hydraulic machine stored in advance, and reduces the revolving speed of the electric motor or the electric generator if the current of the electric motor or the electric generator at the time of detection is lower than the current of the electric motor or the electric generator at the maximum efficiency point of the hydraulic machine stored in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
