Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform image display which produces a sense of unity between an actual scenery viewed by a user and a display on an image display device.SOLUTION: An image display device (AR device) 10 is used by being brought in contact with respect to a paper surface 20. An image display part 13 displays an appropriate region in the paper surface 20 in the same size as the paper surface 20 regardless of the position of the user's eyes, and therefore, can perform image display with a sense of unity with respect to an actual scenery (paper surface 20). In other words, the image display part 13 can display while acting as if the image display part 13 is transparent glass. The region displayed by the image display part 13 can be made appropriate by utilizing at least one piece of information among an imaging region of an image I which imaged the paper surface 20, a contact position P of an imaging part 15 to the paper surface 20, and a size (WD and HD) of the image display part 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
