Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent failure of binding processing of printed sheets.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a printing part that can print images on a plurality of types of sheets; feeding means for feeding designated type of sheets to the printing part; and a PDL processing part that, when binding processing is designated to a bundle of sheets on which images are printed by the printing part and the designated type of sheets are sheets that cannot be bound in the binding processing, controls the feeding means to feed sheets of a type that can be bound in the binding processing instead of the designated type of sheets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
