Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for grinding a scroll-shaped medium flow passage which can efficiently grind a scroll inner wall face, and can discharge a grinding substance remaining in a scroll after grinding.SOLUTION: In a method for grinding an inner wall face of a scroll-shaped medium flow passage 2b which communicates with an impeller accommodation space, a grinding substance 12 which is obtained by mixing a base material 12b which is a gel substance in a normal-temperature range, and lowered in viscosity in a high-temperature range with a grinding material 12a is pressure-sent to the medium flow passage 2b by being cooled to the normal-temperature range or lower, and raised in viscosity, the inner wall face is ground, after that, the medium flow passage 2b is heated to the high-temperature range, the viscosity of the grinding substance 12 remaining in the medium flow passage 2b is lowered, and discharged to the outside of the medium flow passage 2b, and the inner wall face of the scroll-shaped medium flow passage 2b is ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
