Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding device capable of molding a booklet without cutting.SOLUTION: A bookbinding system 1 molds a booklet B by wrapping and binding a paper bundle PS composed of a plurality of pieces of text paper P1 by cover paper P2. In its case, a sheet of a size included in an area constituted of a surface PSF, a reverse surface PSB and a back side end surface PSa of the paper bundle PS is used as the cover paper P2. When using fixed form paper, for example, the text paper P1 is used as longitudinally long A4 paper, and a book is bound by wrapping and binding the cover paper P2 as laterally long A3 paper. Since the cover paper P2 does not project from an external shape of the paper bundle PS, cutting is not required, and cutting chips are not caused.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
