Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device and an illumination device for a vehicle cabin which can obtain high luminance with reduced power consumption by eliminating loss of incident light from a luminous source.SOLUTION: A light guiding body 23 comprises: a light guiding body part 23a which is slender bar- shaped; a light incident surface 28 that is a convex curved shape, which is arranged in one end face side of the light guiding body part 23a facing a luminous source 22 to refract a direction of a light from the luminous source 22 to an optical axis center O side; a light acquiring flange-like part 27 having a light acquisition surface 27a which is in a back side of the light incident surface 28, and protrudes from lateral faces (light emission surfaces) 25b-25d of the light guiding body part 23a to outside direction from the optical axis center O so as to acquire the light leaked through the light incident surface 28 to the outside direction from the optical axis center O, and refract a direction of a light to the optical axis center O side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
