Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the time taken to prepare a tire model while keeping the accuracy of calculating the temperature in the tire inner space.SOLUTION: A method for evaluation wear performance of a rubber material 2 and a tire 26 by using a computer 1 comprises a step S1 of measuring the wear extent of the rubber material 2 by pressing the rubber material 2 against a rotating grinder table 4 under at least two different sets of test conditions; a step S2 of setting in the computer 1 a rubber material model 16, which models the rubber material 2; a step S3 of setting a grinder table model 18 which models the grinder table 4; a step S4 at which the computer 1 brings the rubber material model 16 into contact over the grinder table model 18 under the different sets of test conditions and calculates the wear energy of the rubber material model 16; and a step S5 at which the relationship between the wear extent of the rubber material 2 and the wear energy of the rubber material model 16 is obtained by comparing the wear extent of the rubber material 2 and the wear energy under the same set of test conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
