Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maternity bed which enables one-hand operation without lifting a foot bottom with both hands, is clean, does not inhibit the traffic line of a doctor or the like, enables the foot bottom to move smoothly and be fixed at the position and has a space margin below the waist bottom.SOLUTION: A lever 15 is operated to raise an engaging part 23 to an upper position and a foot bottom assembly 10 is pressed in for storing the foot bottom. The engaging part 23 passes through a first stopper 31, thereafter the engaging part 23 moves to the lower position by releasing the lever 15, the engaging part 23 passes through a second stopper 32 and is engaged, the foot bottom assembly 10 is locked in the state where it is stored below the waist bottom. When the foot bottom assembly 10 is drawn out, the lever 15 is lifted up to raise the engaging part 23 to the upper position, the engaging part 23 can pass through the second stopper 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
