Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method of a lens material block capable of preventing shapes of projection parts of the left and right frames from being different each other even if a part of spectacle frames projects outward from an effective area when a precursor lens set with a C frequency on the rear surface obtained by processing the lens material block and having a minus frequency treated with lenticular processing is further processed to be a spherical lens.SOLUTION: In a direction separating an outer peripheral region of a rear surface of a semi-finished blank from an optical axis, each point existing at an equal distance separated from an optical axis forms a continuous plane whose change of the position in a direction of the optical axis becomes maximum on a plus side in an astigmatism axial direction and becomes a plane moving up and down in a peripheral direction and becomes maximum on a minus side in a direction orthogonal to the astigmatism axis, whereas a rear surface side of the semi-finished blank is set with a S frequency and a C frequency so that an effective region of a precursor lens surrounded by a lenticular processing surface of the region positioned near the backside is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
