Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a large-sized formation of a balancer shaft while a connecting strength between a driven gear and the balancer shaft at a balancer device for an internal combustion engine provided with a gear transmittance mechanism including the driven gear fixed to the balancer shaft between a crank shaft and the balancer shaft having a balance weight.SOLUTION: A balancer shaft 156 is formed so as to have a pair of bearings 156a, 156b rotatably supported at a crank case 52 and a gear supporting part 156c formed so as to have a taper of which diameter may become a small diameter as it is far away from one bearing 156a; a cylindrical hub part 187a having a tapered attaching hole 191 to cause the gear supporting part 156c to be fitted is integrally arranged at a driven gear 187; a fitted recess part 193 having an axis line extending along a radial direction of the balancer shaft 156 to which a half part of the other end of a pin 192 fitted at one end side half part to a large diameter end of the gear supporting part 156c is arranged at a hub part 187a at the large diameter end side of the attaching hole 191.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
