PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system and an air-conditioning method capable of achieving a comfortable thermal environment for staff in an operation room.SOLUTION: An air-conditioning system in an operation room (10) includes: a detection part for detecting the position of staff (43-45) working around an operation table (41); an outlet module (34) for blowing out air supplied from an air-conditioner; and a control part for controlling the direction of the air blown out from the outlet module so that the air blown out from the outlet module is directed toward the staff based on the position information on the staff detected by the detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
