Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook-and-loop fastener for a tire which enables extrusion molding and can have excellent heat resistance and excellent fatigue durability; a pneumatic tire using the same; and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A hook-and-loop fastener 10 installed in the inner surface of a pneumatic tire is formed into a molded body which includes a sheet-like substrate portion 11 and a plurality of engaging elements 12 formed on one surface of the substrate portion 11. The molded body is formed of a thermoplastic elastomer composition in which elastomer particles are dispersed in a matrix of a thermoplastic resin. An amount of the elastomer particles is set at 5 wt.% to 50 wt.% based on the total amount of the thermoplastic elastomer composition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
