Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of achieving execution of sheet processing in response to reception of an execution instruction from a user and execution of sheet processing in response to the lapse of prescribed time.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device 50 includes: a stapler 51 executing staple processing; a sheet detection sensor 54 detecting a sheet being a processing object; and an execution button 55 receiving an execution instruction of the staple processing from a user. After the sheet detection sensor 54 detects the sheet, the staple processing is executed in response to the depression of the execution button 55 when the execution button 55 is depressed before the lapse of a prescribed time T1. The staple processing is executed in response to the lapse of the prescribed time T1 when the execution button 55 is not depressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
