Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump capable of operating delicate working fluid such as blood, and excellent in liquid-pressure efficiency and power efficiency.SOLUTION: A blood pump includes: a pump housing regulating a pump chamber having an inlet port and an outlet port; a rotor arranged in the pump housing; and an axial magnetic bearing arranged in the pump chamber, and at least partially supporting the rotor. The axial magnetic bearing includes a first magnet. The first magnet is formed in such a shape that a mass center of the first magnet is deviated from the axis of the axial magnetic bearing. The first magnet generates magnetic force in a specific radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
