Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water spray head enabled to prevent the adhesion of a dirt by closing a nozzle opening without requiring a restoration work such as the return of cap fitting accompanying a drainage stop.SOLUTION: A short-range nozzle 38 is slidably disposed in a cylinder hole 32 of a nozzle holder 30 disposed, for example, in a short-range nozzle unit 24 mounted in a head body, and a holder opening 34 of the cylinder holder 30 is openably closed by a cover plate 46. In the case where water for fire-fighting is fed from the head body, the short-range nozzle 38 moves forward against a return spring 35 thereby to push and open the cover plate 46, so that the nozzle leading end is protruded forward from the holder opening 34 thereby to perform a water spray. When the supply of the fire-fighting water is stopped, the short-range nozzle 38 returns to the initial position, and the cover plate 46 closes the holder opening 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
