Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw nut and its manufacturing method capable of being molded with high accuracy while reducing processing force even when a roll die is miniaturized and has a small diameter, and reducing costs.SOLUTION: In a ball screw nut 2 provided with a spiral thread groove 2a on which a number of balls 4 roll, on its inner peripheral face, the ball screw nut 2 is composed of a coil material 5 formed by winding a hard steel wire, and provided with the spiral thread groove 2a on its inner periphery, and a sleeve 6 for accommodating the coil material 5, the sleeve 6 is formed into the cylindrical shape from a thin steel plate composed of case hardening steel by press work, and integrally has flanges 6a, 6b extended to a radial inner part at both ends to fix the coil material 5 in a state of not movable in an axial direction, and the thread groove 2a is formed between adjacent wires of the coil material 5 by rolling work, so that processing force in the rolling work of the nut 2 can be suppressed, and the thread groove 2a of precise groove shape can be molded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
