Abstract:
シーラント・キャップ組立体は、内部容積及び底部開口に隣接する凹所を有するキャップ・シェルと、キャップ・シェルの凹所に少なくとも部分的に挿入されるシーラント隔壁リングと、キャップ・シェルの底部開口に隣接するシーラント隔壁リングの径方向外側に位置付けされるシーラントとを含む。シーラント隔壁リングは、キャップ・シェルの凹所の中に引っ込めることができる。シーラントは、未キュアにする又は部分的にキュアすることができ、シーラント・キャップ組立体が締め具に取り付けられるときに隔壁リングの内側に流れるのが阻止される。そのようなシール・キャップ組立体を作成及び使用する方法が開示される。そのようなシーラント・キャップ組立体によってシールされる締め具も開示される。
