PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device that can facilitate processing by eliminating a waste of deliverable even in processing translucent paper of which sheet detection means cannot detect an end of a sheet.SOLUTION: The sheet processing device continuously transports a sheet P if binding processing by a stapler is not set to execute even in the event that the sheet P transported from an image formation device to a post-processing device is a translucent sheet and a transportation sensor 573 or the like provided in a transportation passage of the post-processing device cannot detect an end of the sheet under transportation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
