Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maternity bed which enables a leg bottom to be used as a newborn cradle, enables the leg bottom to be operated with one hand without a need to lift the leg bottom with both hands, having cleanliness, not hindering a traffic line of a doctor or the like, enables the leg bottom to be smoothly moved and fixed at the position, and having enough space in a lower part of a waist bottom.SOLUTION: The leg bottom is locked at a drawn-out position for a pregnant woman to sleep by a first stopper 31, locked at a stored position in a lower part of a waist bottom by a second stopper 32, and locked at a newborn cradle position for a newborn immediately after delivery to be temporarily placed by a first member 41 and a second member 42 of a third stopper. In releasing the lock, when a lever 15 is lifted, a locking part 23 is lifted to an upper position via an interlock rod 18, and locking of the first stopper 31, the second stopper 32, and the third stopper by means of the locking part 23 is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
