Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable performing optimum pump rotation speed control according to water amount without using mechanical flow rate detection means in a pump device.SOLUTION: A pump device includes: a pump; an electric motor for driving the pump; an inverter which has a power conversion device for supplying drive voltage to the electric motor and an arithmetic processing section for controlling rotation speed of the electric motor by changing the frequency of the drive voltage of the power conversion device; and pressure detection means for detecting discharge side pressure of the pump. In the pump device, the discharge side pressure of the pump is controlled to be driven in an allowable pressure range by the inverter. The arithmetic processing section is configured to lower the frequency of the drive voltage output by the power conversion device when there is no change in the frequency of the drive voltage output by the power conversion device for a prescribed time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
