Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision and accuracy of tear fluid examination.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic examination apparatus 1 includes an OCT collection unit 30, a segmentation processing unit 41, and a distribution information acquisition unit 42. The OCT collection unit scans the anterior eye part of a subject eye using optical coherence tomography (OCT) to collect three-dimensional images representing tear fluid on the cornea. The segmentation processing unit applies segmentation processing to the three-dimensional images to determine at least one of an oil layer region corresponding to an oil layer of the tear fluid a liquid layer region corresponding to a liquid layer of the tear fluid. The distribution information acquisition unit acquires information representing a distribution of tear fluid thicknesses, based on a processing result of the segmentation processing unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
