Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a conjugated diene polymer capable of suppressing adhesion of a conjugated diene polymer to guide parts of an apparatus having a screw and thermal degradation of the adhering conjugated diene polymer.SOLUTION: An apparatus having a twin-screw is equipped with a screw barrel to cover the screw, a vent port connected to a space inside the screw barrel, and guide parts installed on the inner wall opposite to the screw arrangement side face of the screw barrel. The guide parts have a curved surface that a mixture containing a conjugated diene polymer and a solvent contact. The arc radius R of the curved surface of the guide parts and the arc radius r of the screw barrel have the relation R>r. The solvent is directly evaporated off from the mixture in the apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: None
