PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper processing apparatus capable of keeping the interval between paper sheets, thereby inhibiting the occurrence of a jam.SOLUTION: A paper processing apparatus 1 comprises: a press roller 72 for pressurizing paper sheets with an adhesive applied on the superposed surfaces of the paper sheets using a pressing force equal to or more than a specified value, thereby adhering to each other; a supplying section for supplying the paper sheets to the press roller 72; a press roller speed detecting section 76 for detecting the speed of the paper sheets conveyed by the press roller 72; and a controlling section for controlling the speed of the paper sheets supplied to the press roller 72 by the supplying section on the basis of the detection result of the press roller speed detecting section 76.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
