Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polycarbonate resin composition, which is excellent in mechanical physical properties and resistance to moist heat and has no problem in mold contamination by mold deposit, with good productivity.SOLUTION: A method for producing a polycarbonate resin composition containing 60-95 mass% of a polycarbonate resin (A) and 40-5 mass% of an emulsion polymerized styrene resin (B) includes: supplying a pellet of a purified and emulsion polymerized styrene resin (B) obtained by an emulsion polymerized styrene resin to a vented twin screw extruder, melt-kneading the emulsion polymerized styrene resin at a resin temperature of 300°C or higher, degassing a gas component with a vent port at reduced pressure, then extruding the resin, and cooling and cutting the extruded strand-shaped resin, to the vented twin screw extruder together with the polycarbonate resin (A); and melt-kneading the pellet.SELECTED DRAWING: None
