Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a silicone resin composition for an optical semiconductor, by which the content of zirconia particles can be relatively increased while the amount of a surface modifier can be relatively reduced, and thereby, a cured product of the composition has an excellent refractive index, and a production method of a cured product of the above composition.SOLUTION: A dispersion of zirconia which is surface-modified by heating and refluxing of a silane coupling agent is compounded by 50 parts by mass or more and 75 parts by mass or less in terms of zirconia particles before the surface modification, in which the surface-modified zirconia particles have a dispersion particle diameter of 1 nm or more and 50 nm or less, and the silane coupling agent is compounded by 0.1 parts by mass or more and 10 parts by mass or less. A thermosetting silicone resin is compounded by 25 parts by mass or more and 50 parts by mass or less. Ketones and alcohols as a dispersion assistant are compounded by 300 parts by mass or more and 1000 parts by mass or less. Then a dispersion medium included in the zirconia dispersion is removed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
